Fingerprint Friday..Winter in Arizona

Fingerprint Friday
There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of godSo look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

Winter in Arizona is one of my favorite times of year. The winters are mild by Eastern standards but still quite chilly (30's). I love this time of year. Everyone is outside decorating their homes with wonderful Christmas displays, lots of shopping to be had and so much more. While everything is not perfect this time of year (it can be super hectic!!). I still enjoy the holidays no matter the stress involved. So after pulling out all the other Christmas decorations (I have a ton!) I sent hubby outside to string up the lights (new LED icicle lights that twinkle!!) He then comes back in holding a nice bunch of roses!!! I was thrilled and quickly looked around for a vase. They were trimmed a bit short so I grabbed two of my cream pitchers. They were the perfect size and look how cute! I think this is a great way to use an item that doesn’t get used nearly enough. These roses made my day today. The fingerprints of God are all over them!

Do Not Worry

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

Matthew 6:25-29

Warm hugs!!

Vanessa :)

  4. Here in North Carolina it's a cold, grey day, with only brown dead leaves on the trees and no sign of any roses. I sure enjoyed your photos!

My mom lived in Arizona for a few years before she passed away. I loved coming out there to visit in the winter because it was so much warmer than here. I got a kick out of seeing Christmas lights wrapped around the cacti in people's yards. :)

  5. So happy you enjoyed my pictures :) They brightened my day too as everything is dead around my yard with the exception of these last winter roses. Arizona has some wonderful winters. Thanks so much for stopping by!!
