Fingerprint Friday

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Check out the Pampering Beki Blog to do your own Fingerprint Friday post: http://www.pamperingbeki.blogspot.com/ and link your blog on the MckLinky at the bottom of Beki's post.

I find this Friday posting to be a great way to end my week. Things can get so hectic with work and life. This gives you a moment to stop and remember what you are greatful for.

One of the things I am grateful for is flowers. I love to photograph them, smell them and plant them in my garden. I love how each flower is unique just like all of us. Where do YOU see Gods fingerprints? Write your own post and let us know.

Photo taken by me but is the handiwork of God :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

I think I need to read this scripture daily! I worry wayyy too much.

Do not worry:

Matthew: 6:25-34

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

  1. Beautiful flower and verse. John 3:16 is my grandma's favorite verse. Whenever she signs something she always added that behind her name.

  2. What a beautiful reading and one I enjoy. Sometimes, we can't help worry and then we have what I call, a light bulb moment...We realize what is important and it isn't things.
    Happy Fingerprint Friday.

  4. You're so right, it's good at the end of the week to take time to rest and reflect and turn our worries over to God. These Scripture verses are among my favorites. I love that saying, "Take time to smell the roses."

  9. Such a great post, beautifully written.

You know, it's funny but I always find God's fingerprints in the smallest things...the beautiful golden leaves on the trees in fall, the sound of a child's laughter, the way the sun shines even when it rains sometimes...the list goes on : )
