all my troubles seemed so far away....
Well almost all. That was until my DSL modem exploded!! No joke! I was online filling orders, trying to update listings and then POP! No internet. Thank God the Qwest retail store was opened. First we tried to call and troubleshoot over the phone which never turn out well as the calls to Qwest are routed to some remote foreign island where people only talk with the use of a script in hand.
So after much frustration and the representative not understanding that I couldn’t be without the internet for a FEW WEEKS!! We asked if there was a local store we could buy a new one (could have had a free one if I wanted no internet for two weeks which means no business for that long as well!) So far the connection seems even better! I am very grateful to have the net back. Sunday morning me and hubbie both looked at each other and said "wow this shows you how dependent on technology we really are" I found it rather frightening!
I am glad that is behind me and I have a cute and much smaller DSL box. I wish everything that broke down had a nifty retail outlet you could go to. It’s nice being able to talk to someone who understands what you are talking about!!
I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing and/or exciting weekend. Stay tuned for a yummy recipe that I make weekly I love it so much. Turkey taco meat (if you don’t like ground turkey.. you will surely LOVE this and if you do.. you will love it even more!)
