We will be making a trip to Pinetop this weekend to drop my little brother off at camp. So we decided we might as well stay a few days to enjoy some of the fresh air, pine trees and lakes. This meant finding a good rate on a hotel room for two days.
I tried all of the usual suspects online to get a great price on a hotel room. Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline, Expedia etc. I was just about to make my reservation online when hubby decided to call first. We saved quite a bit by making reservations with the hotel directly
Its not the Hilton but it was short notice and we do want to bring our furry family member(no other hotels allowed this). Quite a few of the hotels were booked this coming weekend due to a Cowboy Convention..NO JOKE!
The moral of the story: Save some cash on your next hotel stay by making reservations directly with the hotel. NOT through their 800#, their website or even "discount" sites. Don’t let Shatner fool you!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel Haley. It's super hot here in Tucson too and the A/C bills are a killer! It will be nice to have some cool weather for a few days even if it rains :) Thanks for stopping by!
